En Vogue's Dawn Robinson Relives Touring with Luther Vandross

Dawn Robinson, former member of En Vogue, has had alot to say lately. This story has been told and re-told before. So, why Dawn is bringing it up again after nearly 30 years and with Luther Vandross no longer here to defend himself is weird. She re-tells the story of En Vogue touring with the late and great singer Luther Vandross back in the early ’90s, and how he allegedly didn’t like them very much. Dawn complains about strange restrictions from Luther Vandross concerning the group not wearing any sequins or the colors red, white, blue, or black and allegedly calling police on them for walking pass his dressing room to get to the stage. Other grievances of Dawn include wanting current En Vogue member Rhona Bennett removed in order for a reunification of the original members. Also, Dawn has griped about Raphael Saadiq's jealousy and causing her to lose her home due to an album that never saw the light of day when she was a part of the supergroup Lucy Pearl. Dawn has an upcoming book, "The Break of Dawn," being released sometime this year.
