Jamie Foxx Didn't Enjoy The Beyoncé Kiss in "Dreamgirls"

I don't think anyone has ever seen the mother of any of Jamie Foxx's children or has seriously seen him with a Black woman outside of a movie screen. But anyhoo, this cited source flashbacks to Jamie Foxx speaking out shortly after Dreamgirls on how he could not/did not enjoy his on-screen kiss with Bey. All he had on his mind is Bey as "Jay-Z's girl." Bey was reportedly nervous about the kiss as well: “I guess you could say we had a love scene. We kissed. Now, I’m a singer/songwriter, that’s what I did first – I didn’t start out going to acting classes and people-kissing classes. So that’s all still new to me. Working with my acting coach made it easier. I just thought it was necessary for the character, we had to establish that they’re married. Jamie was very professional, it was quick, and you know, it is what it is.”

Dreamgirls premiered on Christmas Day 2006. It was inspired by the 1982 Dreamgirls the Broadway musical. Both musicals are strongly based on the real life history of the Detroit Motown record label and one of its most popular acts, The Supremes. Jamie Foxx acted as a Berry Gordy-type Curtis Taylor Jr. Beyoncé portrayed a Diana Ross-type Deena Jones.
