Classic Show Good Times Will Be Animated, Steph Curry A Producer

Yay. Another. Reboot. If you want to see scratching and surviving in animation form then the 1970s classic sitcom Good Times is for you. Good Times captured the strong Black Evans family who lived in Chicago projects, tackling serious social issues as racism, unemployment, poverty, gang violence and child abuse. Not unlike the state of the world today. Netflix promises to follow these same themes as well as other struggles with Steph Curry as one of the producers at the helm. No word on the debut date as of yet. 

The sitcom starred Esther Rolle, John Amos, Ja'net Dubois, Ralph Carter, Jimmie Walker, Bern Nadette Stanis, Johnny Brown, Janet Jackson, and Ben Powers.
