'It was great': In leaked audio, Trump celebrated low Black turnout in 2016

This isn't exactly a newsflash but it's resurfacing. He's said it behind closed doors, he's said it to the faces of civil rights leaders, and he's said it after winning his one and only term: “Many Blacks didn’t go out to vote for Hillary ‘cause they liked me. That was almost as good as getting the vote, you know, and it was great.”

Until you struggle to pay your mortgage/rent and bills, until you stand in a food line, until you're forced to live off of $5 a week for what is supposed to be known as unemployment benefits, until you or a loved one has been brutalized, or worse, by police, until you have to give your child their best education over a zoom call, until you get turned away due to lack of health insurance, until your family dies of COVID-19 in a nursing facility alone...

Those playing the dangerous game of staying at home or holding their vote are the same people who share the same ideals as this current administration as far as I am concerned and is flat out selfish. First Lady Forever Michelle Obama always says it best.
