HAPPY MONDAY!!!
It has, no lie. And during this new era of quarantining/self-isolating some guilty pleasures have developed:
extra takeout, passing out after watching tv all night, reality tv, soap operas, gossip websites, and everything of the like.
I'm being productive as well. I'm working on a promotion from home.
So this time hasn't been all the way squandered😜.
But my blog, this blog is my outlet. I'm proud of my little blog if I do say so myself. Nothing but positive vibes over here. A strong emphasis on racism, class, education, community, the family dynamic, the workplace, and health is what Notes From Natti is about.
These days race and the public health crisis known as COVID-19 take much precedence on here...as well as racism being a public health crisis itself. But lately more feelgood news come to mind. I think we need to be made aware of that as well.
I'm glad that I've found my way back to writing again. At the risk of sounding selfish, this blog is more for me than for anyone else. It always has been and it always will be. And yet I have nothing to hide and is why I leave my profile page open- to stalkers and trolls😂. That's kind of one of the dowsides of blogging.
An upside of blogging is being part of a community. This has definitely helped me be more selfless in helping more with disadvantaged populations and just being a blessing to others without expecting a blessing in return. Inspiration definitely make some extraordinary things happen. This is why I would like to take some time on this day to thank each and everyone who took time to comment, upvote, recommend, even taking part in all of the great debates dating back to HHCP.
Thank you for showing love. Every one of you know who you are. I even bless the trolls😂.
Seriously, we stated the problems and we gave the solutions. We're just waiting on the rest of the world to catch up. We presented research and kept/demanded receipts at the ready for the troll who attempted to dispute our facts.
We dug deep in the crates for a hip-hop or R&B throwback to turn up to on any given day- morning, noon, or night. We shared some pics from our life and may have disclosed TMI from our life as well🤣.
Anyway, I wish everyone to be safe and happy, or a successful journey to get to happy. I'm happy and am blessed to be doing what I love to do. I also wish for everyone, wherever you are, to support, and to continue being that community...that collective to be reckoned with who stays inspired and inspires...and creates. And I will continue to do the same❤✊💯
