Amanda Seales says 2020 BET Awards will speak out against racial injustices

Amanda Seales may have been a bit too real for The Real, and she promises to keep that same energy when hosting the BET Awards tomorrow night. Although the awards will be held virtually, it will focus less on the global pandemic of the coronavirus and more on the global pandemic of racism. 

Amanda says: "I don’t think there’s a better time for us to be doing a show celebrating Black folks for living in their craft to the best of their abilities. I was more so just keenly aware of the importance of this time. I need to be thoughtful and I always am, but really making sure that I’m not taking anything for granted in terms of what this stage means at this time."

Amanda Seales never ceases to disappoint.
