Subways To Shut Down Nightly To Be Disinfected

The subways will stop running for 4 hours in the wee hours of every morning between 1 and 5 A.M. to be disinfected. The only times the subways were halted were due to a malfunction or a hurricane. For those still needing transportation during those hours, some buses, dollar vans, and free for-hire vehicles will be available. Also, shelter is supposed to be found for homeless persons occupying the subways during those hours.
