“I Should Spit On You!”: Amanda Seales Is Threatened for Social Distancing
Some people had a problem with personal space way before this era of "social distancing." Amanda Seales experienced some woman with a breathing tube risking both her and Amanda's life at a Target. The woman had a problem with six feet of separation.
Amanda says: “There’s no polite way to create distance and I think that’s what I get frustrated with. I don’t want to have to do that, but then I was at a Target and this woman was like standing so close to me. I was like, ‘Ma’am, can you please give me some space?’"
Ultimately the woman threatened to spit on Amanda and "shank" her. At that point employees escorted the woman out. Some people just seem to take it personally if you don't want them in your personal space and Amanda is not about that life.
