To God be the glory! Postal worker saves toddler found barefoot on side of highway
Letter carrier Keith Rollins was driving on the highway when he saw something off to the side that looked like a head. He decided to stop and investigate this past Thursday morning at 8 a.m. Mr. Rollins called 911 immediately and saw that it was 2-year-old toddler Ethan Adeyemi, wearing only a sweater and sweatpants, no socks, no shoes.
Mr. Rollins took Ethan, who is suspected of having autism, to this truck, covered him with a sweater and cranked up the heat. Ethan had been reported missing the night before around 10:40 p.m., braving the cold temperatures for nearly 10 hours until Mr. Rollins came along.
Earth angel Mr. Rollins: “Giving glory to God that I was able to help at that particular time and be in the correct place at the right time. I was just glad to be a part of a good-ending situation. But a hero? Nah, not at all. It was God-ordained that I be in that place at that time. Remarkable, man, remarkable.”
