Religion Eliminated As Reason for Parents Waiving Vaccines
There are families who lack health insurance to receive vaccinations that so many others take for granted. And this isn't only subject to third world countries. But right here in this country, states are following suit to tell parents to keep their children home if they are not vaccinated. New Jersey is the latest behind New York, California, West Virginia, and Mississippi, to propose a vaccine bill eliminating religion as the reason for exemption.
So aborted fetal tissue and pork will no longer stand up as reasons for not having your child vaccinated. But proving that your child's sibling was somehow harmed by vaccination is an out. Also, you can opt for private school or daycare, which are not affected by this new law. And the debate of religion versus science continues. And religious fanatics go to the extreme of stating that vaccines for a child is a lack of faith. On the other hand, some parents see it as making provision for their child's health as well as the well-being of a community. So please love thy neighbor and get your kids vaccinated.
